How to visit Poitiers and its surroundings

​

The historic and monumental center of Poitiers, the 'city of a hundred steeples', is bounded by La Boivre to the east and Clain to the west, which meet in the north at the "Porte de Paris". This space is occupied by a promontory, the "Plateau", a good part of which is pedestrianized. Between rivers and Plateau, sloping streets and many buildings. And on the other side of rivers, cliffs or hills (here, we said "Cueille"). Here is our short, non-exhaustive guide for a visit to Poitiers and its surroundings as you wish:
